Marvel of Music - Year End Showcase and Awards Details

Hello all!

Less than 48 hours away from our year-end concert! Here are the details you need to know.

Every music student is involved in this concert, and is expected to pariticipate from start to finish.
Students should be in proper uniforms. Proper uniforms include black pants (not sweatpants, skirts, tights or leggings, but pants), black socks, black shoes and a lightweight white top. Band Jackets will be distributed to students in advance of the concert. Panorama has organized their own unique outfits as well.
All students are expected to arrive at NDC by 6:00 PM. They are to go to their designated warm-up rooms to put their instruments together, tune, and get themselves organized.
- Strings warm up in Mrs. Dudgeon's Room (set up your stringed instruments before you set up your wind instruments)
- Grade 7s warm up in the Band Room
- Grade 8s warm up in Mrs. Coucill's Room
- Grade 9s warm up in Mrs. Ewankow's Room
- Seniors warm up in Mr. Asselstine's Room
Admission is by cash or card donation. The doors will open at 6:10 PM.
The bleachers are reserved for student musicians. Student musicians will be sitting on the bleachers for the concert to allow for rapid transitions and minimal downtime, which will be necessary to keep the concert flowing and entertaining.
Concert Programmes will be Digital and Interactive in format. A link and a QR code will be available at the venue, and for at least 1 week following as well. Cellphones will be permitted in the concert, but should be set to silent.
A space in front of the band will be available to let parents and supporters sneak a photo in of their students. Please feel free to bring cameras without flash, buzzes or beeps.

It promises to be an incredible evening of music and celebration! We have 9 different ensemble configurations playing 19 pieces of music, and we also have some very well-deserved awards to hand out. I look forward to seeing you all there, but most importantly, I can't wait for you to see how incredibly hard your students have worked, and how strong they have become as musicians! See you there!
